Christmas in July

It's raining cats outside today. (Not dogs - the dogs are all inside the house.)

So Phil is doing the only thing that makes sense to do on a dreary, rainy July day.

Drink hot chocolate and watch a Christmas in July movie on the Hallmark channel.

Party Like It's 1978

We celebrated Wiphey's parents' phortieth anniversary last weekend. Phil's job was to oversee the decorating.

He did a phine job.

Mom Deuce is also anticipating a big birthday this phall, so we celebrated that, too. The weather was hot and humid, but Phil's decorations withstood the heat and everyone had a good time.

Happy Independence Day! You haven't phound a lot oph Phil on this blog lately because we've been a little busy around here. Here is what we've been up to:

The phurry ones have done a lot oph sleeping.

Especially Phritz.

Captain has been on bunny watch.

Wiphey has been doing a lot oph work. She's hopephul that the literacy grant application she contributed to earns her school district some money.

And Hubby has been playing golph. When he can't get onto a busy course, he practices in the backyard. Phil and the phurry ones stay inside and out oph his way when he practices.
