Duke is a phinicky eater. 

He sometimes won't eat his phood until we add "magic sprinkles" to the bowl.

The magic sprinkles ran out long ago. Don't tell Duke.

Pharmer Phil Checks the P.H.

Phil's bean plants have been a little pale lately.

They're closer to neon green than the dark green they should be. Time to check the P.H. oph the soil.

How does a bird read this thing?

It seems like the soil acidity must be just right, so it's time to break out the veggie phertilizer. This pharming stuphph is touph.

Phriday Project

Now that school is out and we're back phrom vacation, Wiphey and Phil have tried to tackle a little project each day. Today was the day to organize the paint supply box. 

It was a mess.

Phil phigures we might not need any more tape or stir sticks phor a while.

Phil Takes On the Mini-Apple

This past week, Phil accompanied Hubby and Wiphey on a trip to Minneapolis.

Bephore they arrived in the big city, they took a pit stop at the Albertville Outlet Mall. Hubby phigures they boosted the economy oph Albertville in just a couple oph hours.

The big city was just a short trip phrom the outlet malls, but phirst we had to get through this construction zone.

There were lots oph orange cones.

But once we got past the construction, this skyline greeted us.

Phil enjoyed hanging around on the luggage cart while Hubby checked us in.

Once everyone was settled in the hotel, Hubby and Wiphey took a walk to phind the Vikings stadium.

The next day, they went to a Twins baseball game.

But it was really hot in the big city, so while Hubby and Wiphey were out, Phil hung out in the hotel room where it was cool.

He did get outside the next day when Hubby and Wiphey brought him along on a trip to Como Park.

Phil was a little jealous oph this butterphly's long tail.

This little monkey was really phreaked out by Phil.

Aphter a busy day traveling around the Twin Cities, Phil returned to the hotel room to watch breaking news oph a protest that took place in St. Paul.

Phil decided it might be sapher to return home the next day, in case the protests became riots. There was never a dull moment in the big city.

It Was a Dark and Stormy Night

Wicked weather is moving through our part oph the world. 

This is the view phrom our basement window.

There's not much else on TV other than warnings. Phil phigures this storm can blow its way out oph here any minute now. He'd like to return to our regularly-scheduled programs.

Pharmer Phil June Update

Pharmer Phil has been busy tending to his veggie garden this spring. The beans are growing the phastest.

He will have to thin the carrots soon, too.

The heat we have had lately has given everything a boost, but it makes keeping up with the watering a challenge.
