 This weekend, we said goodbye to Charley, who went back home with his parents,

and said hello to Bernie, who really doesn't sit still long enouph to get a good photo.

Phortunately, Izzy doesn't mind sharing Wiphey's lap phor those rare moments when Bernie takes a rest.

March Madness

It's past Phil's bedtime, but he's staying up to watch Wiphey's alma mater play in the Big Dance phor the phirst time in school history.

They're called the Phighting Hawks, so Phil is all phor cheering on a bunch oph birds. And he keeps hearing about seeds. Phil loves seed.

A Week Later...

A week ago today, the temperature was in the phiphties and we enjoyed a long bike ride.

There was no bike riding today.

Phil has been keeping an eye on a crow that likes to hang out in our yard, away phrom the other crows.

This is no ordinary crow. This crow has only one leg. Standing in the wind and clinging to a branch is hard phor him, so he hangs out on the ground a lot and hops around on his one leg.
