Weather Reprieve

Phil has had quite a boring week. It's been phrigid, windy, snowy, and icy all week, so he has hunkered down indoors. Today the temperature got up around 10 degrees above zero--quite a heatwave these days--so Hubby and Wiphey ran their cars through the car wash. Phil loves to see them all shined up. He had phorgotten what color they were.
While they were out, Hubby and Wiphey picked up a couple of shelves to organize their shoes.
It's a good thing Hubby's putting these together because Phil can't phigure out where all this hardware goes.
Here's the shelph phor Wiphey's closet.
Phil can't phigure out how all these shoes will phit in there.
 Ta da!
And now Phil is preparing phor another blizzard to strike tomorrow. Go phigure.

Usually Phil enjoys meeting one oph his own kind, but this bird is particularly concerning due to the phact that there is a rather large arrow attached to him.

Day Ophph Phrustration

There's supposedly a blizzard going on outside. Yes, it's windy, and it's probably a bit scary driving out in open country, but iph Phil can still see across the phield, it's just not that bad outside. But area schools were cancelled anyway. In phact, the decision was made last night, ahead oph the winds. Wiphey really had a lot oph work to accomplish, so she's actually a bit phrustrated by the cancellation. So Phil is keeping her busy at home.
They did a load oph laundry.
He helped her get some reading done phor an upcoming meeting.
They phinally caught up with the latest episode of The Bachelor.
And they spent halph the morning adjusting the antenna because it was just windy enouph to mess with reception while trying to watch Good Morning America.

Deep Phreeze

Take a look at the outdoor temperature phrom our backyard thermometer. It's actually phour degrees warmer in our yard than it is in other parts oph our city. Local school districts will be closed tomorrow because the wind chills could get down to sixty degrees below zero, which is the coldest we've seen in a long time.
 How cold is it?
It's so cold that Phil has to warm his tail pheathers by the phire.
It's so cold that we have to warm ourselves up phrom the inside out with a steaming bowl oph chili.
It's so cold that there is phrost gathering on the plastic meant to keep out the cold air.
It's so cold that Phil has to cuddle up under blankets with the phurry ones just to keep warm.

Playophph Season

The good part about Hubby's and Wiphey's teams not making it to the playophphs is that they've already put the agony oph depheat behind them phor the season.
There will be a phew more phans joining them aphter this weekend.
