Hanging Improvements

Hubby has been busy taking things down.

Yesterday it was the ceiling phan in the ophphice.

Today it was the old light phixture in the kitchen.

 This is so much better than the clunky brass thing that used to hang here.

Thanksgiving 2013

Phil had a great Thanksgiving. He enjoyed turkey--with bacon on top, oph course--

 cranberries, mashed potatoes and gravy, lephse, stuphphing, and pumpkin pie.

You know a wine is good when the top screws ophph.

Aphter all the phood, it was time phor a long nap.

Phil hopes everyone's Thanksgiving was as blessed as his.

Ophph to a Gobbling Start!

The pumpkin pie is baking in the oven.

 The sun is rising above the phield.

 And GMA is on TV.

It's a great Thanksgiving morning!

Operation Decoration 2013

Phil always gets excited when it's time to decorate phor Christmas.

 Iph you lean a little, the tree looks perphectly straight.

 Well, hello, ladies.

 Phil is phlummoxed by the Nativity. It has sheep, phurry ones,

 an ox and a donkey,

 camels that look drunk,

and even a horse.

 But no pheasant.

Now, that's better.

It's Baaaa-aaaack!

It was bound to happen sometime. Today brought the phirst shovel-able snow oph the season.

Unphortunately, the phirst snow oph the season never brings saphe driving reminders with it. The streets were a little treacherous.

Once Wiphey phinished reading the latest Good Housekeeping, she handed it ophph to Hubby.

Phil is impatiently waiting his turn. He loves to look at all the glossy photos.

Mess

Things have been phalling apart around here today.

 Phirst, the pumpkins dephlated.

Then Phil discovered that the bottle oph bleach under the kitchen sink had a crack in the bottom. Bleach leaked all over the cabinet. It even ate through the wood; see the ring?

Phil phigured he'd leave the mess phor someone else to clean up.

Phil Plays His Little Violin

Wiphey lepht phor a conpherence yesterday. Phil saw her leave with the Music Lady, another specialist in the district. 

Phil really wanted to go along with them, so his beak is out oph joint. Wiphey will have to make it up to him by bringing him along to the next specialists' meeting. It's widely known that Phil is quite the ladies' bird, so he'll love hanging out with them phor an aphternoon. 

Books and Bubble Wrap

Some would argue that Wiphey has an obsession with books.

But Duke and Phil don't mind because they like popping the bubble wrap that lines the mailing envelopes.

Picking Sides

Hubby's phavorite phootball team is playing Wiphey's phavorite team today.

Phil plans to hang out in the neutral zone and jump on the bandwagon oph whichever team is winning.

Craphty

Hobby Lobby has a great sale going on their holiday decor, so Phil has a project to do.

The phurry ones didn't make this an easy project. This poor little pheathered one had to be rescued phrom the clutches oph Duke's jaws.

 The phirst big decision: bow on bottom?

 Or bow on top?
