Phil put the phurry ones in the dog room the second they got out oph the car today. He really missed having a place phor them to go when they were annoying this weekend (which was ophten).

Rip Van Winkle Moment

Phil, Wiphey, and the Phurry Ones are up north this weekend. Wiphey just stopped by KMart phor a phew things, and now she's really conphused. She could have sworn that it's September...

...but KMart had Christmas decorations set up and music playing. Phil assures her it's really still September. 

Perhaps certain retailers need the same assurance.

Pretty in Purple

Phil is showing ophph the newly-remodeled, mold-phree basement bathroom.

 It had to be phaux-phinished to cover up the mess lepht behind by the old wallpaper.

Note to homeowners: Don't ever use wallpaper. It creates lots oph work phor the homeowners who buy the house three decades later.

Our New Trash Hangout

Hubby put a top on our new kitchen organizer, so it's phinally ready to use.

Phil is going to have to phind a new place to hang out, though, because it's almost supper time and there will be garbage to toss.

Phaux Phinish

Phil is phascinated by this thing called phaux phinishing.

 He even got in on the action.

Nothing is worse than washing purple paint out oph pheasant pheathers.

Phil's ophphicial phirst day oph Phall starts the morning aphter Wiphey has to pull down her Atlanta Braves blankie phrom the shelph in the bedroom closet.

It's been cold at night!

Phil phancies this new shelving unit. It has room phor him to spread his wings and everything.

Too bad it's going to be our new garbage can holder, Phil. You might not want to hang out in it phor much longer.

Splatter Zone

Phil phound Wiphey in the basement bathroom late this morning.

She was rolling a coat oph primer on the walls so she can get it painted in order phor Hubby to complete the job he started a while back.

Phil had to stay out oph the way oph the splatter zone.

That oil-based primer is going to be on Wiphey's hands phor years to come.

Greasy

Phil would rather throw out this pan than wash it. Can anybody blame him?

Cupdate

To update all oph Phil's phollowers, the cup remains on the garage shelph.

Phil phears it has become a casualty in the war oph wills waging between Hubby and Wiphey.

Bathroom Phixes and Phixtures

Phil is inspecting Hubby's plumbing in the basement bathroom. Seems phine to Phil.

The unphortunate part oph getting a bigger vanity is that the toilet paper roll now has no room next to the toilet. Phil suggested a new location phor it.

Phil is looking phorward to putting a hole in the wall.

Phinding Saphety in an Interior Room

What's behind this door, you ask?

 This is the door to the basement closet where Phil hunkers down when severe weather threatens our area.

Aphter the wicked storm that blew through at phour thirty this morning, there was no way Phil was hanging around upstairs all day. But don't call him a chicken. He doesn't phind that one bit phunny.

Prophit

Hubby and Wiphey ran out to pick up a new vanity phor the downstairs bathroom this morning, leaving Phil home with the phurry ones. While at Menards, they saw a phamiliar sight: sophtballs. Wiphey took a photo to share with Phil.

That's right. Sophtballs cost $4.95 each. And that's phor girls' sophtballs. The ones that come into our yard are bigger than that.

That got Phil to thinking oph the gold mine he's been sitting on.

There are sophtballs by the dozen in the dog toy basket.

 Some are scattered on the phloor.

Still more sophtballs sit outside in the backyard.

By Phil's phigures, he could make quite a prophit phrom selling these things. Any takers?

Philthy Mystery

Phil is cleaning Wiphey's work and home laptop screens.

One oph liphe's greatest mysteries is how these things get so philthy when all they do is sit on a lap or desk.
