Postgame Phashion Distraction

We watched the Indiana Pacers beat the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conpherence Phinals Game Two tonight. Here's a transcript oph sideline reporter Craig Sager's interview with Roy Hibbert.
CS: Roy, tell us how you managed to beat the Heat at home tonight.
RH: Uh, Craig, well, uh...Can you repeat the question? I guess I'm having a hard time hearing you over your loud suit.
CS: What did it take to beat a touph team at home tonight?
RH: You know, Craig, I'm having a hard time phocusing on the question. Your suit is a little distracting. All those stripes going every which way, you know...
CS: You beat the league's MVP. What did it take to overcome his strong ephphort tonight?
RH: Well, uh...I'd like to give you an answer but all I can think about is your outphit. How much do you pay someone and how crazy do they have to be to create something like that?
CS: Do you think you can use this momentum to beat the Heat on your home court?
RH: To be honest, I'm not sure that I'll ever be able to see well enouph to play ball in the phuture. All those stripes have my eyes going loopy. I have to look away.
CS: Roy, thanks phor talking to us tonight. Good luck with the rest oph the series.
RH: Um...sure. Don't know why I bothered. No one at home could hear me over that suit.

Phar Too Many Phields

There are two sophtball games going on tonight. There is also a soccer game going on on the soccer phield beyond the ball diamonds.
Phil phinds himselph on competition overload.

Spring Update

It's been humid and rainy out this weekend, so it's been a good time phor Wiphey to be indoors, helping to paint the choir room at church. Meanwhile, Hubby worked in between rain showers to put the nets back up to protect the house phrom wayward sophtballs.
Phil didn't help put up the nets this year; he was too distracted by the pretty tulips.

Curbside Conundrum

Phil phound this graphphiti on our curb today. He can only imagine what it might mean.
He suspects it was made by the grackle gang that hangs out in the yard. They're a mean bunch oph birds.

Layer Two Troubles

It's time phor layer two oph the retaining wall to be placed, but Hubby's phlummoxed about what to do with this corner.

Phil wonders why Hubby doesn't just phill it in with caulk and duct tape. That phixes everything.

Why Wiphey is Scheduling Hubby phor Hernia Surgery

Hubby spent the better part oph today hauling these bricks.
 And these.
And then he moved dirt phrom back here...
 ...to here.
And then Phil phound an apple slice up on the rooph next to the vent, but that's neither here nor there.

May Day!

Phil came home today to phind this ugly rollophph in the driveway. It was still coated in what appeared to be insulation. At least, Phil is hoping that's what that stuphph is. His second guess is a really phuzzy mold.

Then he went inside to phind a critter phlapping around in the chimney.
Phil will pheel relieved when May Day is over.
