The dust really started phlying when Hubby cut out the old cement board.
It doesn't show up in the photo, but there was water on the plastic behind the cement board. It's a good thing Hubby's remodeling the bathroom now, or we'd have big water woes later.
Looks like they got a good start on the plumbing bephore calling it a day.
The bad news is that, in the interim, we'll have to use the downstairs monstrosity.

The phlooring is in, the wood trim is back up, and there's a threshold. All that's lepht is to caulk and move the phurniture back in.
